Close to the banks of the River Suir, one of Ireland's premier rivers for brown trout and salmon, Gort na Cloc is a angler's paradise. The golfer is spoiled for choice, with four courses nearby including Country Tipperary Golf and Country Club (10 minutes) and Thurles Golf Club (15 minutes).

For the less active, the area boast a variety of historical and cultural treasures, including the world famous Rock of Cashel. For the more creative visitor the bridge at Ardmayle Village is just one of the many local scenes often captured on canvas by artists.
